It has always been important to us as a bed and breakfast to promote and use local produce wherever possible. We feel that this not only supports our local economy and reduces ‘food miles’ but, as the produce is often of a higher quality, and we believe it also tastes so much better!
Where local ingredients are not available, we always try to offer Canadian organic or fair-trade alternatives.
Breakfast
To Start
Start with Bob Marley Coffee, regular, dark roast, or decaf, one of our numerous selections of teas, Laura Secord hot chocolate, or lactose-free milk.
Your choice of orange juice, apple juice, or tomato juice
A mix of fresh fruit - strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, grapes as well as assorted cubed melon
The Main Event
Our guests rave about John's special scrambled eggs, made with old cheddar locally sourced from the Eddy Family Farm
Locally sourced award winning bacon and maple infused sausage from Storey Farms
Baked hash browns finished off in the frying pan with the bacon grease
Farm fresh eggs from Eddy Farms. Fresh vegetables in the summer locally sourced from our Farmers Market includes:
- tomatoes,
- sweet peppers,
- cucumber, and radishes.
Your choice of toast - White, Honey Oatmeal, or Light Rye
A huge variety of Jams - one of our guests favorites is Marmalade with Champagne
Storey Farms Maple Syrup
If guests are staying three days or longer, we offer different breakfasts daily - such as: French toast, pancakes, and cinnamon buns
We make special breakfasts for our vegetarian guests - Muffins, scones, fruit, vegetables, pancakes, French Toast
All served by candlelight on fine china, Waterford crystal and gold plated flatware, plus awesome music!

Delicious Breakfast
"Both mornings our breakfasts were delicious and quickly prepared, bacon and eggs with rye toast and unbelievably tasty French toast for the 2nd day. My husband had food restrictions which they were more than happy to accommodate. His vegetable omelet was so good he had it both mornings. We sat at the breakfast table for quite a long time both mornings just conversing with each other. I felt very comfortable as if I was home in my own dining room having breakfast".

“From the minute we arrived we were warmly welcomed. Home was decorated beautifully for Christmas with the most magazine worthy trees! Nancy and John were lovely hosts who were very knowledgeable. The conversation over wine and cheese was lovely. Breakfast is 5⭐️, the bacon and eggs were delicious and cooked to perfection! Must try John’s hash browns! Beds were very comfy with amazing sheets! We will certainly be back!!”
